I have just bult a win2k pro machine and installed VNC as a service. When I try to connect to it with my own win2k machine all I get is a grey screen which says: please wait initail screen loading. I have control overe the mouse on the server machinebut I can see anything. I have unistalled anreinstalled, changed video settings. Nothing I am at a loss.

    Any Ideas.

Try clicking on the "restrict pixels to 8-bit" option. Sometimes a screensaver or active desktop can give you grief.
