I'm trying to decide between an Olympus 220 zoom and a Samsung 230 zoom

Does anyone have either of these camera's or have any advice to offer?

I dont have either but am in the market for one.

I got a loan of Kodak DX 3900 to try out and see if i liked it.
And i wont accept anything less if you have the cash that is the camera to buy its amazing.

I have the Kodak DC3400 and would highly recommend it. The quality from Kodak digital cameras is brilliant. A friend of mine has a 3 mega-pixel fuji camera and the kodak (which is 2 mega-pixel) gives much better pictures.

i'm presuming you have a budget of about e300.. in which case that kodak is out of the question :)

i'd personally go for the olympus, i have used the old 1?0 model which wasn't even a megapixel camera (let alone a 2meg like the 220) but it gave quite decent results.. plus the fact that any non-digital olympus camera i have ever used has been great, samsung I have only come across in budget camcorders, and I think unless theres a large price difference between the two go for the olympus.
