RTE and their bad scheduling

Why can RTE not seem to get any of their scheduling right or consistent ??

I decided to watch Treasure Island for the first time last night, but there was no sign of it - just ancient repeats of Only Fools and Horses.

And more importantly, does anyone know what the story is with Network 2's screenings of Third Watch?

It seems to skip every second week, and isn't in the schedules at all for the next two weeks.

    Hi Charles,

According to a thread on the satellite forum, Treasure Island was moved to after the news due to RTÉ not wanting to go up against some wedding special on Coronation ****e on TV3. This happens quite a lot in the UK when the soaps are having specials (or big matches are being shown) the other channels don't put anything much on as they know it won't be watched.

Haven't got a clue about third watch.

Annoying that. I had set the video to tape Frantic - even adding my usual half hour to the program time for possible "oh, dammit, what time iis it? Oops, we'd better show that movie now" it still missed the end.
