Just wondering what everyone's typing speed is . I done the test at http://www.typingtest.com/ and got
27 WPM with an accuracy of 96%

My copy typing is about 95wpm and my dictaphone typing is about 85wpm, accuracy normally about 98% unless I'm tired, but then again whenever I'm between real jobs I end up typing for a living so it really isn't that exciting for me.

(Did a lot of typing in work last week and spent the weekend with RSI pain in both arms. Charming.)

Last time I checked (a long time ago) it was 38wpm at 97% accuracy. That was typing from a page. Typing from my head is much faster.

I'm just wondering how those figures equate to cph (Characters per Hour) which is another way of evaluting your speed. The average speed for a data entry person is about 10,000 cph.

those capital letters are a biatch... i rarely use caps since they're not needed in IRC or boards, and outlook and Word do them auto.
