My TV and speakers dont mix - purple ARGH

Wandered past my tv, very close to it, last nite, with a 150Watt Kenwood car speaker, and got a big purple blotch on the TV, its still there now this morning, Anyone any suggestions on how to solve it ?

That has happened to me once or twice.
I sorted it out by bring the speaker (or any magnet) back to the affected part of the screen and "dragging" the dis-coloured patch out (in other words wave the magnet around near it until it gets back to normal).
