I have a 'old' P4 here in work and Im looking for a mobo for it.. Everywhere I look only has mobo's for the new tiny P4's 2 questions, what is the socket for the older, bigger P4 (as in Athlon is Socket A) and anyone reccomend a mobo for the old P4..

the old one is socket423, new pentium 4's use socket 478.

www.ebay.com or www.ebay.co.uk would probably be the best place to look - get an cheap second-hand motherboard from a good reliable manufacturer like abit, asus or msi.
