I have, u have to prepay the dsl rental for 2 months btw.

yes, i have too. That prepay thing is quite annoying. I dont remember it being mentioned in the T&C. Do ISDN users pre-pay thier service?

But isn't that the same with a normal line?

I recently paid my bill for calls up to the 30th of June and the rental was from July 1st to August 31st i.e. two months in advance.

There is the option with ISDN to pay for 1 month or 2 at a time. perhaps you can set it to one after an extensive call to the Eircom customer services dept.

Yeah - got hit for it in my latest bill last week - it was classed under the heading equipment. I seem to have not been charged for the May/June billing period however.

Odd thing is, I never signed a contract, or read the T&C apart from those on the web-site.

So - if I get i-stream installed on August 2nd - I won't be charged until my next bill which is somewhere around September 29th, is this correct?

I might be gettin i-stream *gulp* installed.

is it good seen as u have all tested it? whats the latency like and would u recommend it or would u say wait for something better and get isdn till then?
