doing a project at the moment, was just wondering what team work in the business world is really like.
how important is it to the company etc, what styles of leadership are taken by management.

Well there is the seagull management process.

Never around when you need them. When a storm is about to start, flys in ****s on everything then flys off again.

Serious though, I recommend Understanding Organisations by Charles Handy.

It goes into depth into different kinds of team work and organisational setups and how they work, pros+cons, etc.

    the truth?
do something out of the ordinary and people will stand about a mile behind you, giving you no support.
    always cover your own ass
always have someone else to blame. they will

I whole heardedly agree with Eamo - you're friends will jab that dagger into ya if it's their a$$ on the line.
