    Any1 know where i can buy a SONY good home cinema kit [exlu. dvd player] for a reasonalble price??

    [tats 5 speakers and sub-woofer please]

    Why are you putting so much emphasis on Sony ?
    You should consider other brands too.

    I have bought from Richer Sounds in the past and can recommend them for just about anything like that.

    as far as im aware, most of the sony home cinema kits (the dav packages anyway) ship with a dvd player with integrated amp, and they are the most common you'll find around town..
    have a look at the mission or eltax speaker packages from richer sounds...

    also the subwoofer included in these packages are usually much much better sounding than the home cinema ones.

    however if size is a priority peats sell a pretty damn solid bose kit if im not mistaken.

    well i have a sony dvd player, so i want to b certain its compatable, plus personally i prefare sony products.

    does you dvd player have an integrated amp?
    i.e. does it actually have speaker terminals or just phono outputs for each speaker?

    it has three ports which all go into one wireand then split into 3, i already have two "makeshift" speakers attached and they work fine.

    [not entirly sure of the details, ill post the model of the player up wen i get home]
