PROC Contingent / My Bufday

    Greetings losers,

    Just for a change, I have decided to attend an IrelandOffline event, namely, of course, the IrelandOffline AGM next weekend. If anyone is travelling from the People's Republic, please post here, we may be able to team up for a boozing session on the train, or alternatively share a car. I'll be leaving around sevenish on Friday, and returning sometime on Sunday.

    Also, let it be known that my birthday is the weekend after, and since I'm inviting just about everyone, you're welcome to toddle along if you're in the area. For more details, have a look here:

    LOL, that was actually supposed to say "It was excellent.". I'll leave it as is though, because, well, I am.

    Eircom gave me a birthday present too by the way, they cut me off on Friday. They were completely justified in doing it of course, because I'm way behind on my bill, but I was paying off €350/month - which is well over my usage - to try and clear it. They got the timing just right though, because I'm not working from home any more, and consequently don't really need the ISDN lines. So I just plug into another line in the house, and Eircom can go screw themselves. I'll pay when I'm good and ready.

    Heh, at one stage later on in the evening - after I was dragged in out of the rain - I went up to three girls standing in a corner and asked what they'd got for me (meaning presents, honest). Blank stares was the answer, because they weren't with the party. It's not as if they even looked familiar. I guess I was just chancing me arm. Or pi55ed? :)
