    I am in france at the moment and i was in a guitar shop and i saw a "rocktek" distortion pedal. i bought it for 25 euro and havent been able try it out yet, does anyone know this brand?
    Did i buy a piece of crap?

    Yeah it all depends on your guitar and amp though. There are generally ****. And i've even seen one that came without a connection for a 9v battery.

    i have a rocktec distortion pedal i bought at a car boot sale or a fiver, its not that bad for messing around with, wouldnt be great for gigging though but grand for practice, most rocktec stuff aint great though as giblet says:)
