Worrying times ahead...

Heard something from a very reliable friend recently about Galway Corporation. Apparently there is virtually no money in the books. All the planned roads/bypasses/etc have been put on the long finger and many staff are set to be laid off.

Has the bubble finally burst? If so, can I just say that the government has wasted the opportunity of a lifetime. We will never see such a boom for years to come.

Where did it all go? A Spike on O'Connel Street? Restoring Famine Ships? Ministerial Wage increases?

Yet, people still live on the streets, hospital lists are growing, crime is rampant, etc.? Time to buckle up methinks. The times ahead won't be an easy ride...

Where do we go from here?
