Ok. I want a good RPG not like the dungeons and dragons style tho that most PC RPG's like baulders gate and such, but more like the FF series/zelda (with no dungeons dont liek that).

Please any assistance, i was trailing through search engines to find some but to no avail. :(

If you don't mind playing on a snes emulator then try to find Chrono Trigger or Secret of Mana. For the playstation there's Xenogear, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy Tactics (not really an RPG but great story and great fun to play) etc.

Lordsippa, squaresoft made ports of FF7+8 to the PC, but for some reason their hard to get, but you can get them.
But squaresoft havent, and i dont think ever will, port 9+10 to the PC, but a PC release on FF11 is expected a year after its out on PS2.

I dont have a clue about FF11 though is it gonna be the same as the PS2 version or will it be like one of those MMORPG's?

Its an MMORPG, it wont be that similar to the previous FF series i dont think, will probable have more or less the same combat system tho.

DAMNIT hate MMORPG's, not the gaemplay like, jsut that fact of the pay per play policy.

Yeah... i had ff8 on pc... and i bought a copy of ff7 once... but it was faulty. i brought it back and that was the last time i ever found a copy of it. :(

So why wouldn't they release them on budget to have further sales!? DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!

oh and even if you don't like d&D based games, try Planescape Torment... it's far away enough from them all, and simplised enough to be far more playable and fun than the BG series <i still love them, but Torment is the best by far>.

    That or... NETHACK!

I have the PC versions of FFVII & FFVIII(as well as the ps versions), and they're a good bit worse. VII has ****ty sound, and they're both bugged as hell, crashing very frequently. If you want good PC rpgs, try Deus Ex and System Shock 2, FPS RPGs, Diablo (2) is about dungeons and monsters and ****, but it's a lot more actiony than BG. Fallout(and Fallout 2) is similar to BG, but it's set in a post appocolyptic future with guns and ****. Or, if it's only console stlye RPGs you want, try Anachronox. Similar to the FFs, but not as good. Most of these are out on budget now, so you should get them all. Should keep you going for a while.

Final Fantasy X! And Grandia 2 isn't half bad, you can get that for the DC or PS2. Hmmmmmm.............oh and try not to cry when you finish FFX, i could barely hold back the tears........... *sniff*
