Any bets the Rev has Netbus on his machine.
Don't laugh... this story is true.
After coming back from Dublin last year I got home and switched on the machine. Something in the monitor blew and smoke started coming out of it. So I switched it off.
Somewhat annoyed I returned about 10 minutes later to test the damage and found that the monitor still worked fine.
Some weeks later I'm in a bar with friends chatting away when I mention about my monitor blowing up and then strangely working again. Here is part of that conversation as I remember it.
".... and when I came back it worked."
"Did you let the smoke get out?"
"huh? Well there was no where else to go"
"but you let the smoke into your apartment?"
"Wasn't that much smoke"
"You have a demon in your machine"
"what?"
"Your machine is possessed. You probably got a demon from the internet."
"really?" [trying to remain serious"
"Oh yes, the smoke was the demon trying to escape but I think you switched it off in time. If you want I can exorcise the demon from your machine."
.... and so on. This is serious!0 -
