I seem to be mentioning this company a lot.
    www.bigbearsound.com

Price of RAM was low for a while but may have gone up a bit now. I'd say it should be no bother to put OS9 but why not go for OSX? You would just need the mem.

Phoning them is better than their website.

yes OS9 will go into an iMac. Im not sure about OSX tho, check www.apple.com.
You should have no problem sticking new ram into it either.

Basically, I have an old teal iMac with OS8 on it, and I want to put some more memory in it and upgrade the OS if possible. So, can I put OS 9 on the original Teal iMac? If I can, then do I have to download an upgrade from Apple or will I have to buy it? Also, what type of Mac RAM can be fitted into the old-school iMac?

A lot of questions I know, but the info on the web is pretty scarce.

    I'd really appreciate any info.
