Wil Wheaton believes his cameo appearance in Star Trek: Nemesis has already been cut, less than a month after post-production started on the film. Wheaton revealed the news through his official web site. Wheaton's cameo as Wesley Crusher was to take place near the beginning of the film. While it is possible that his footage will not end up in the final film, it is too early to know for sure - we are several months from any final cut of the film.
Through his official web site, Wheaton yesterday spoke about his two years of 'life' troubles and made the offhand remark toward the end: "Oh, and I hear that they've cut me out of the Star Trek movie. Perfect." In characteristic fashion, Wheaton expresses himself frankly in toady's update, saying "It also doesn't help that I keep seeing the phrase "Has been," and "washed up," immediately preceding my name all over the place... Boy, it's a great feeling to know that people are calling me washed up at 29."

Wheaton has now updated his site with this news piece. "I spoke with my manager, and he made some calls about Trek X. The word is that it's too early to know if I'm out or not, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to cut my scene, so this may turn out to be a Stupid Internet Rumour. I am grateful that I have good people working with me, who care about my career as much as I do."

Hmm I like your way of thinking lol. It's 13th December for US of A I think, but it's 3rd January for Ireland...be a cool film to see before Christmas but, meh it'll be something to do afterwords I guess

the one for the last film was in in UCI in blanchardstown. They had 3 of the big screens booked out for simultanious screenings and busses to the after show party , it was a blast.

It looks DAMN good. Although the clone looks NOTHING like Picard!! I mean seriously!!

The cast and writer have all been saying that despite the "Generation's final journey" tagline, if this one does well they're certain Paramount will beg for a sequel (which apparently the door is wide open for). So yay!
