i hope you mean in peace, leila, cos the idea of him resting in piece(s) is not at all appealing... ;) anyway, as part of the who he was one of the people who changed the course of music history, and one kick-ass bassguy he was too. rip, john, at lwast you're back with your rhythm partner now, i hope you and moonie have a drink and a great time together. good bye john!

    :-)

Here is one of his songs which is a bit apt:

Heaven and Hell by John Entwhistle

On top of the sky is a place where you go
    If you've done nothing wrong
    If you've done nothing wrong
And down in the ground is a place where you go
if you've been a bad boy

If you've been a bad boy

Why can't we have eternal life and never die?

In the place up above you grow feather wings
and you flap round and round
    With a harp singing hyms
And down in the ground you grow horns and a tail
and you carry a fork and moan and wail

Theres a great version of this on the 'Live at Leeds' CD

I wonder do harps come with bass strings?

    Apologies
that post was written in a state
of emotional distress and under duress .It truly is a sad loss
    Rest in Peace

i'm sure if they don't have them in heaven they'll make a custom one especially for him! :) sure they wouldn't want to do without the helicopter overhead sound up there?
