Just a quick fire question to get some thoughts

Where would be a good place to go, in Dublin city for a birthday lunch. Its my mothers b-day and I am not going to be around on the day of her birthday and would like to bring her out to lunch beforehand. I have thought of a few like Tante Zoes, etc. But would anyone else have any recommendations?

Take her to Thorntons in Portobello, guaranteed to impress.
They do a very nice "suprise lunch menu".
If you can afford it of course!

Bella Cuba near Rolly's Bistro, very small, you need to book before hand, top notch scoff though, specialises in surprise, surprise Cuban food.
