    Folks

Here's some information from What Satellite with good and bad news for both UK and Irish Sky Digital buffs.

"Tories want BBC to become a pay service
The Conservative Party has unveiled a new plan to cut the UK's TV licence fee cut and ask viewers to pay for some BBC digital channels. Under the scheme, the licence fee would be retained only to cover basic public service shows, while entertainment, drama and sport would be available on a pay basis. The BBC would be able to provide subscription services. [June 22]"

    pfffh!

Torie's wont see power for the next 10 years.

The Tories have always loved the licence fee, they wouldnt carry that through. They have to be seen as being in opposition to the government, so they oppose government policy.

    Don't loose sleep over it.
