Dempsey and Makepeace

To my shock horror I've been none the wiser that Dempsey and Makepeace has been re-running on TV3 for the last few weeks in the mornings.:eek:

It has to be one of all-time fav TV drama's. It was well ahead of its time in terms of stunts if I remenber correctly and of course, who wouldn't fawn at the delectable Harriet Makepeace (aka: Glynis Barber)

Are there any other fans out there !?

They were showing it when TV3 started up. I can remember thinking "ah, they'll be showing a lot of stuff that RTE showed when the shows were new."

Unfortunately (based on what they've been at since) that wasn't the case - mostly moody prime-time stuff that RTE wouldn't want.

Of course RTE are more than kept busy showing old eps of "Keeping Up Appearances" at any given opportunity (and it must be time for them to start another Bond season on Wednesday night).

Must set the video in the mornings then

Im fairly sure that this was on Granada plus,available on skydigital but not sure about irish digital cable,a few months ago in the afternoons.Not sure if its still on though.

I noticed that.

The bit she had was very tiny as Dan Ackroyds wife I have since found out so maybe it wasn't worthy of a mention on IMDB (Only God knows why ).
