Clubs in Ratmines / Ranelagh

Does anyone know of any GAA / Soccer or other sport's type clubs in Rathmines or Ranleagh ?

There must be clubs in that area, But Im from up the road, so here goes...

Move a small bit up the road (10 minute cycle or 5/10 mins on 15, 15B going away from town) to Rathgar and Terenure and you have a load of GAA and Soccer clubs to pick from...

Faughs GAA (hurling only I think?)
Further up the road you have Ballyboden St Endas.
(not a GAA person so Im not sure of who else)

There are a couple of clubs based out of Bushy Park in Terenure. Kids team is Bushy Park Rangers, no idea if that is the gown ups team too?

Terenure College AFC play in the grounds of the School, altho it has the name its not really a past pupils thing.

There are 2 soccer teams who drink in Comans Pub in Rathgar. No idea of their names anymore as its ages since I worked there, but there always used to be add for them in the Bog and behind the bar..

Yeah I'm a member of Ballyboden already then you have Faughs, Judes and a few soccer clubs up there I know all about it dont worry

When did ya work in Comans, I used to work there as well.


I need to find a place in these areas for a student coming down not sure why exactly but it has to be in that area.

Ahh right I only worked there last summer. Did you know Tony ? If ya did ever notice anything unstable or wrong with him ?

Im moving to Rathmines on the 13th of Sept and keen to get a soccer club. Anyone know of any?
