I got to level 8 in under four minutes. :D

About 3 minutes was on level 2 until I realised how to get by it. Level 1 took a few seconds.

I'm not going beyond level 8 because TBH I'm not downloading an EXE to my machine.

    Do I win a prize?

    Solution.

Once apon a time there was this fabled village (lets call it Darndale) and in that place was a building which held many riches. The owner of the building fearing that the locals would be envious and steal his valuables he decreed that a great door to be built to protect his building. It was a mighty door, metal and quite solid with loads of locks all over it, and the locals did agree it was indeed a fine door.

Two days later a seven year old ran a car into the wall and stole his TV.

I wouldn't call anybody a l33t ha><or just because they can get past this stuff. Basically most of the challenges give you something to start with, each piece you solve, gives you a few more things to try, until in the end you get where you want to go.

    L4 (the applet)
Trying java reflection had entered my head before decompiling. There I was writing some quick code to interrogate the class. Then my hand lifted off the keyboard, and slapped the back of my head ;)

I would have prefered if they outlined the scope of the hax in the beginning. That way we would know if we needed any other software apart from a browser to participate. I ended up writing some quick apps myself to pass one or two, because I had nothing on my machine that would help me.

    ;-phobos-)
