spicy wedge roll

i recently have acquired an addiction to spicy wedge rolls , any one else into them ? i need some support here because when ever i go out with my friends and get one , there all like yochy thats horrible and one of them even suggested i had an imbalance that required me to eat them , ....but they are luly .

I'm quite partial to wrapping a spicy wedge in a slice of bread, rolled up and eating it (so much so that when I cook them I have to cook extra so there'll be some for dinner

God yeh. My addition has grown to the point where I now consume extremely "specialist" wedge rolls daily.
These consist of a whole meal roll (poppy sead, caroway seed, seasame seed), mayonnaise, stuffing (yes stuffing), ketchup and of course a vigorous portion of hot, spicy wedges. Coronarytacular !

oh yeah loads of red sauce , i went into a shop yesterday ( cannot name for am legal purposes ) and they had wedges and rolls but when i asked your one for a spicy wedge roll she looks at me weird and goes .errr we dont do them , .it was terrible so i had to but the roll and the wedges separate and go home and make it ................before i gave up the old meat , i used ta love a spicy wedge roll with a rasher in it ,mmmmmm!!

I used to make em, with a bit of mayonaise, ketchup, brown sauce, Colman's mustard (the good strong nostril flaring stuff - nyom) or tikki sauce.
Now I jsut make chip butties.
Sometimes cheese comes into it, but not often. I leave the grated stuff for my pasta 'n cheese dishes.

Here's a mad idea. Mix up some Ceaser Salad with lots of dressing, and Bung it in a Pitta Bread with Spicy Wedges.

Unfortunately for me my first experience with spicy wedge's was in school, they serve these horrible soggy, stale, waterish ones that just are'nt right. Maybe we should all go there and picket the cafeteria "The people demand decent spicy wedge's".

Your a veggie :eek: I pity you oldyellar, I bet your missing the bacon and white pudding mmmmmm.....white pudding rolls, now there's a meal. I lick my lips in anticipation to getting home and scoffing a white pudding french stick with plenty of horseradish sauce.

Wow, I never met a mutt that did'nt eat meat My stepmother WAS a vegetarian but eventually the smell of bacon in the morning got to her, before that she was cramming Linda McCartney soya burgers down my throat :rolleyes:

Anyway went into Spar today and bought pure unadultarated spicy wedges, went down a fantastic treat, they'll certainly be on my palate for a while
