So who all here listen to this fantastic band?! If you don't you're missing one of the best metal bands around. I haven't heard one bad thing from any metalhead that I've loaned their CD's to. Thats coming from black, death, thrash and even nu-metallers. I really advise anyone that see's any of their album's lying around in shops to buy it straight away. They really are worth every penny and more.

So now back to the people who listen to em. Whats yer favorite songs.

(as you can see I'm desperately trying to start a conversation :D ).

YEs pornapster, this band does indeed rock, fave band of all time!
My fave song is Colony, for obvious reason.... ;)
I have 60 songs of theirs in my playlist (thats a helluva lot when you only have 335 songs.........)
And every downoad/buy all of their songs, there isnt a bad song in there!

well, you got it right, this is the best band i have ever heard....
my fave of all time quite easily. got about 50 of their songs on MP3 and there isnt a single one that i dont like. the guitar work is brilliant, the drum work is brilliant, the vocals (for a metal head anyway :)) are brilliant, it all adds together to make music that isnt just a song, its an experience. fave song would have to be Gyroscope, the tune to the song is the perfect thing to get your blood pumping and head banging :D
    /me puts on gyroscope
    /me starts headbanging
    ahhhhhhhh, im happy now :D
anyways, back to the point. their music is not all just metal, they also have some nice acousting songs, a good example is Pallers Andres Vista, its a fantastic acoustic song, no lyrics, but its still amazing :D
The In Flames albums are easily the best buys out there.

    I like them well enough.

Although, Dark Tranquillity, I think are better.
Mikael Stanne, who was the vocalist on In Flames' "The Jester Race" sings with them.

But, um, on a totally unrelated note, you can download a song from the upcoming album on the official dark tranquility website - www.darktranquility.com

THEN, you can go and buy it!

    It's a "Similar" topic.

Dark Tranquility and In Flames are like brother-bands.
And shame on you if you don't like both.

Dunno, Swim would have been the first In Flames song I heard.
I'd say the live version of that.

Never a truer word spoken! I really really wanna see them come to Ireland. I'm sure it would be the best gig Ireland has seen in a while, if only people knew about them. Maybe we should post fliers around towns and cities and get some support for them! :D

By the Way, I have 5 videos of In Flames at home...
Only For The Weak, Pinball Map, Ordinary Story, Jotun, Food For The God's... :p
