I just saw a picture of Seoul, the capital of South Korea, and-well, Gary Lineker said there were 1.3 million people on the streets, but there seemed like double that number!! So what would happen if they actually WON the World Cup?

Yeah was a great result for the South Koreans. This whole world cup seems to be throwing the established order out the window, Argentina, France, Portugal, and now Italy are all out before the Quarter finals. Whod have guessed that before the WC?

'According to a police estimate, more than five million supporters gathered at over 300 sites across the nation to watch the crucial game on giant outdoor television screens. '

can you imagine a sea of 5 million green Irish supporters?

    :D

btw , did you not think of this game as a copy of the Ireland - Spain game? , spain in front soon , then penalty kick missed , equalizer on the 90 minute and then extra time...except a happy ending. and furthermore the spanish TV considered this match as a chasing game for ther spanish , and the irish were considered to be 'on the run'. They think Ireland was lucky they didnt loose with more goals in their nets...

Highlight of the game.... the Korean lad kicking the Italian guy in the back of the head... oops....sowwy...

But seriously both their goals were great... both in the last few moments of full time.

Filthy play from the Italians. Far more than from the Koreans imho.
