    Hi All.
I brought a new widescreen over the weekend. When I had it set-up, I tried to
lower the volume via my Sky Remote. It did not work. I then noticed that when I switch
from the Sky to TV, it also did not work. So from now on, I have to use my Sky Remote
and TV Remote. A friend has the same problem. Has anyone on the list had the same problem
and if so, is here a fix for this?

    Thanks
    Darren

There are usually several different codes for each brand of TV, so it's possible that you've used the wrong one. I don't think that all the possible codes are given in the manual.

There is a website detailing them all. I'll have a look for it later and get back to you.

    irishdeej,

I guess you realise that if the TV is a different brand or a newer model than your previous TV, you'll have to reprogramme the remote (if you didn't know, you do now).

There's a page on Satcure with loads of codes (they should call the page "Loads of Codes"). There are two tables on the page, the second one has recent additions, so hopefully you'll find what your looking for.

    Good luck.

The page is on - http://www.satcure.com/tech/digicode.htm

Codes are also printed in the back of pretty much all the user guides for the digiboxes

(not much good if you threw it out or lost it)

You can also find the codes through the interactive service on Sky itself. Press the interactive button and then press Technical Enquiries (I think). One of the topics is how to set up the remote for your tv.
