Copy of Tru64

    A bit of a long shot here :)

    I'm looking for a copy of Tru64 UNIX for the AlphaServer 1200; not sure if it's architecture-specific or not. I've had a look at Compaq's site and there doesnt really seem to be a facility for getting copies of this operating system.

    The server we have at the moment runs NetBSD/alpha; while this is great and all Tru64 would be even better since it is the native OS for that platform.

    I suppose this could go in the For Sale board but I figured somebody here might be help :)

    OSF is a commercial product so you will really need to buy a license to activate it - even if you get a copy of the media from somewhere.

    I think that you can get a non-commercial license for about 100 Euro.

    If memory serves, Horizon (www.horizon.ie) are a reseller - try giving them a ring.

    Try the following URL - it should be a page which will prompt a local reseller to contact you.
