I don't know about Flute specifically but music lessons in general tend to cost something like €10-30 per lesson.

Anyone, please correct me fi I'm wrong on this.

If your in dublin you could try waltons on georges street, or you might get a private teacher which is prolly the best option,
try leeson park school of music but i doubt you'll get a teacher available to teach from there,
and lessons cost about €30/hr, i know my violin lessons work out at that

Holy fuk! 30 quid for a music lesson? Id fuk myself before Id pay that (obviously:)) . Seriously tho thats extortion. If flute is anything like tin whistle (which I believe it is :p) then you should be able to teach yourself with a book at that price and a few teaching tapes. Especially if you have experience with other instruments or a decent knowledge of theory.

30 euro is the going rate nearly, but i don't have a leson for an hour officially so thats how it goes,
when you get a job how much do you expect to be payed /hr as a qualified proffessional?
