I tried the other day in the art of Bull in getting a N.I FTV card but I failed so I now have a unactivated FTV card for the english midlands (where I live) instead. After reading other threads it got me thinking... maybe just maybe with RTE going to be available for the north and utv and C4 (maybe) in the freestate then the beeb may show highlights or the odd ulster game like they used to on BBC2 NI.So jumping the gun or being prepared I may get to watch the mighty CAVAN.

Anybody got any views ?? (not on the mighty CAVAN thou)

(3-1 To Ireland and its another all day sess in the pub tomorrow)

You can get UK postcodes and corresponding addresses on the Royal Mail website.

even if RTE does become available in the north I can't imagine it being FTV.

What use is a postcode? Doesn't the address need to have a valid UK TV license?

    Yep the above are true

But I have a unwanted FTV card which will only allow me to watch what I can already get through my TV aerial ie BBC look east and regional stuff for the midlands and the east of england (they will not give me a card for a region I do not live in). What I want is a BBC FTV card for the N.Ireland so I can get NI regional programes and maybe in the future any GAA highlights or games.

So if anybody can get one and wants to swap just let me know

    Cheers
