i've always meant to take up rugby, but i was wondering does anyone know of any women's rugby clubs around south dublin that would be good for a complete beginner. i reckon summer would be a good time to start! i know there's a women's rugby team in UCD, but i would think that's mainly for people who have played before- correct me if i'm wrong, though!

I think Old Belvo have a womens side that was looking for new members. Rugby clubs are always looking for new people.

There are also some tag rugby leagues operating up there as well ( www.tagrugby.com i think it is) That would be handy to get a start.

Havent done it but from playing tip (which it basically is) you improve your running skills especially if your a forward :)

I wish! The name is simply a tribute to the great Tony. I was the openline once, did an impression of David Norris. Went down well but it was a short lived episode. Bring back Greg and the openline!
