At what point in the timeline will Ep3 end?

    I think the perfect ending you be the smuggling of the kids, or else some final battle between the last of the Jedi and Vader. But since the Jedi go destroyed spoiler:running to the chiss.

    That shouldn't really be the end of the film.

    the question is not when it will end, its when will it start?

    it mite pick up directly after ep.2
    it mite pick up after the birth of luke and leia

    etc....
    etc....

    u need to know when it begins to know where it ends.....

    Eh, no!

    Since ep4 has already been made you in fact DON'T need to know where it begins to know where it ends. That was the whole point of this survey.

    How will Episode 3 end?

    With everything all neatly tied up of course.

    I suppect it will fade to credits as Obi-wan takes off with the newly-born Luke to hide him (while Yoda takes Leia to Alderaan). Oh and just before Obi-wan will have the massive light-sabre battle which results in Anakin being massively injured which would explain the suit.

    That what will happen but ill say then will show him, in the last 5min or so, turning into Vader. The only way we will know for sure is if we could "borrow" the episode3 script from Lucas :D
