RTE Sky card works in another box

Hi I've got a Sky digibox in my living room which is registered in the UK and I have recently had another one put in the bedroom , which is registered here in Ireland. However I noticed yesterday that if I put the RTE Sky card in the UK box everything worked except BBC 1 NI and BBC 2 NI. My sister says that it will work…

Hi I've got a Sky digibox in my living room which is registered in the UK and I have recently had another one put in the bedroom , which is registered here in Ireland. Can anyone out there shed any light on this.

Yup that works. The only channels not to work would be premium channels like Sky Sports and BBC plus maybe a few others.
