ok i didnt do too badly on my first go, didnt do good either, i made some mistakes and saw other mistakes,

i loved the game but all my turns are gone and i have no ship left but i'll retire with my 200million on sol and give it a week before i try again to start ;)

1: if you are going to build up a planet remove all the warp links. dont put up sector defenses but pile fighters and energy into the planet....sector def attract the vultures

2: leave only one planet per system, more than one and people get suspiscious....i do anyway

3:buy escape pods and emergency warp drives

4:think before you click, or bye bye ship

5:when some one takes your planet, if you take it back, relocate it...........for me they are easy targets

6:full scans can find many planets and peoples planets are often linked by warp

7:info is power, as much time as you can spend building and hidden away, know your enemy and his weak links,

8:its good to take a planet, after you take it coz its a target, strip it and planrt mines

    9:its only a game!

    and i love it

yeah but that presents a target for attack,

    "put yourself beyond defeat....."

dont give your opponents a target, if i see a place with three planets then i know some one is there and i'll use that info to my advantage!

Since creating a good defense in a game isn't really that hard but yourself beyong a target is really simple.

Your passing up possibly the biggest advantage in the game owning your own sector(s).
