One thing that crossed my mind was over excessive use of the word "download." All who aren't computer savvy overuse this word because of it's popularity on AOL commercials and the like:

Hey, I just got my new CD burner installed and I'm downloading a CD right now, Yeah I'm including a file I downloaded from a disk that my friend downloaded for me.

And again, the ever present:
"Dude, can you make my computer better/faster like you did to yours that 'overspeed' thing?"
"what kind of computer do you have?"
"Ummm I don't know.. I think it's a Gateway..."

Confusing "screensavers" with "backgrounds".

ie "Hey, look at this cool screensaver I got! It's a picture of Natalie Portman! Now how do you get it to stop from doing that thing where the screen goes black?"

The funniest thing i have ever heard was some eejit on some ****e channel talking about how he hacked into a webserver through port 80, and they had no password whatsoever!!
