A friend is taking a laptop on holiday to The States, anyone know about the 110/220 volt difference and how to deal with it?
    Thanks.

OOOHH,I hear laughter in the rain.

Most laptops have auto-sensing power supply. He should check with the person who sold him it.

All he has to do is get the right power cable to the power supply if that is the case.
