Now, everyone here probably remembers Schillachi. Top goalscorer in world cup 90 and the guy who broke our hearts with his first half goal in the quarter finals that year.

But I need to know something else. Most people know Toto spent a period of time as a Juventus player but what I need to know is WAS Schillachi a Juventus player by the time WC90 started? I need to prove that he played at least one game for Juve before the start of WC90 to win a bet with a mate of mine and any info/websites that could settle the matter would be gratefully recieved!

Found this which says that prior to the tournament he scored 23 for seria b side messina and played for juve in the season b4 the WC90. Also found this which says he was at juve between 1989 and 1992 b4 moving to inter.

Its the way i remeber it too so it must be true :).

Yeah I seem to remember him signing for Inter from Juve. Adn he probably would not have been picked for 1990 squad if he was not playing.

He definitely played for Juventus the season previous to the WC, and he even scored a ****load of goals... that's why he was picked to play for the national team. He wasn't a great footballer afterall...

You can trust me on this, I have seen him playing for a few years as I am italian myself and I was still in Italy during his "golden" years... :)
