Watched the only programme I sit down to watch any more on UTV last night - The Bill. However UTV didn't broadcast it properly. We got part 2 as it went into an ad break and suddenyl jolted out of ads into the second part again! It must have been localaised as I channel switched during the ad break and found Border broadcasting the Bill while UTV were in the ad break. There must have been quite a few irate viewers as I couldn't get through on the phone. They apologised at the end saying there were "technical problems at UTV" but how are we supposed to know what happened in the first chunk of the bill? Did someone programme the tape machine incorrectly? Why were UTV not taking a network feed of the programme anyway - the following prog. advertised at the end was to be the same Border / UTV tho' Ulster blocked it appearing to get continuity on
What is going on in UTV?

I missed the opening few mins yesterday, so when reference was made to the biker, and the woman who kept calling the cops refered to Jim (Carver) by his first name on what I thought was thier first meeting, it struck me as odd, I assumed it must be reference to what I had missed. Then the penny dropped!

As you say what detail was mised out?, given the Simpson case is on-going not to mention the political machinations in the station, its important the UTV show the whole thing again. Properly.

    Mike.

mike65, without mentioning "the Simpson case"(although as I don't know what that is, that's irrelevant) this sort of thing happens 1 or 2 times a week at UTV anyway!
