what are your thoughts on what will happen in episode 3

i believe that the council will discover that palpatine is on the dark side. as yoda said in EP1 "hard to see the dark side".
Palpatine will form the empire as the republic forces in EP2 clearly resembled the stormtroopers. The deathstar will start to be constructed. The birth of luke and leia. Anakin will destroy count dooko and take his place on palpatines side just as palpatine tried to get luke to destroy vader/anakin and take his place in ROTJ. And the Nabboo and the jedi will unite in their effort to prevente palpatine.

I don't think that the Jedi Council will find out about palpatine until Palpatine decides to tell everyone, he done a good job hiding so far whats to stop him continuing that, I think that the Dark side will come out once Luke has been turned.

Thing to watch far in the next one is how Palpatine gets rid of the Jedi.

I've a fair idea how but ya got to let Mr Lucas have something.

Dunno about beginning the building of the Death Star - it would mean they built the second one very quickly in comparison. Mind you, they probably kept records of all the problem-things.

I'm interested to see where Vader gets the idea behind his black cape and so on (not really ;-)). It's not like he had his mammy around to make it for him (a la Superman)

Episode3 spolier!Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala become bored of the galatic republic and fly off to Coruscant to reveal the truth and secrets of their relationship on the Jar Jar Springer show ( no relation to Oprah or Jar Jar Binks).

Padme tells to JJ Springer how Anakin has taken her virginity and impregnated her using the powers of the dark Force.

She also informs Anakin that this sordid love affair is a lot more dirty as Amidala is really Anakins sister.

Anakin furious giving ino the dark side attacks Amidala only to be broken up by Yoda-Steve and Jar Jar Springer, Anakin takes out his sabre and kills both of them but Amidala escapes with her twin Jedi sprogs inside her.

Yoda watching the show becomes shocked to see the incidents unfold as Yoda-Steve and Jar Jar springer were relatives of him. Yoda losses control and ends up having numerous drug and seexual binges with members of Seaseme street and the Moo-pets.

Yoda then acknowledges that he has turned to the dark side, and concludes that he must live a life of celibacy to atone for his sins and retain his Jedi powers of the Force, so Yoda seeks a new life of eating maggots and bugs in an isolated swap.

Anakin after tracking down and killing the rest of the members of the Jar Jar Sproinger show realises Obi-Wan Kenobi has also aged quite a bit as he was some 35yrs of age when Anakin was a little boy.

Obi asks Anakin for a fair fight. So Anakin uses the power of the force on himself to make himself age.

But it goes to far Anakin turns into old fat senile Vader and is confined to a wheel chair. Obi-Won wins!!

Anakin suffering from dementia replaces and modifies his body with plastic mechanics instead of using cloned tissue and laser sugery.
Anakin seeking a new image gets a cape and re-names himself Dark Vaggina but sufferring from memory loss and a distorted old mans voice miss spells and miss-pronounces the name and becomes know as Darth Vader.
In a final act of indignity Vader replaces all his high tech Empire of evil droids clones and ships with useless 80s robotics and Storm Troopers who happened to be the left over crew of the Jar Jar Springer show.
Padmé Amidala weds Chewbaca's Daddie and they live happy ever after until Vader arrives one day at the door in a high tech 80s wheel chair and runs over both Amidala and Chewies daddie.

Just before Amidala dies she uses the forsce to send Leia and Luke to a Foster home,... and roll on Episode 4

Spoileeeeersss. Lots of info/spoilers I've read. Don't read in case they're true and it ruins Ep III for you



Padme will die. Mace Windu will die. Obi-Wan and Anakin will fight. Big big fight. Anakin will probably get hurt (hence the suit). Otherwise we can attitribute his smashing good looks to Dark Side making people ugly-ass. Yoda and Obi-Wan will be sent into exile. Obi-Wan will take little Luke and Leia and split them up. We know Luke will go to Owen. I'd say Leia will go to Jimmy Smits/Senator Bail Organa. As far as I can tell he won't be Senator anymore so he may go on to rule that crappy little moon Leia's princess of. Old character will return, most likely Chewie (I would have hoped for Han Solo but Ford is too old-looking now).

Anakin will turn full dark side. He'll get to wear the helmet (probably very short near the end). Dave Prowse wants to return to playing Darth Vader (when he's in the full suit). He's trying to convince Lucas, but I doubt it'll happen. Hayden is going to have to put on a few pounds for Ep III but he won't be *that* big.

Jar Jar will be back, only a very short role though. Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett's actor) may be back as Boba Fett (according to an interview with him).

There's rumours regarding Anakin's father/birth. Some say Dooku is just his father. Some say he has no father (and thus part of the prophecy). Others say it may be a cloning thing (perhaps he's a clone of Dooku?). I don't think it'll be any of these.

Anakin will kill Dooku. Boba Fett will kill Mace Windu (my poor daddy is dead!). Maybe Yoda vs Emperor/Darth Sidious. Yoda's always hammering on about the emperor and how not to underestimate him. Perhaps he knows first hand? Also Anakin will hunt down and kill all the Jedi.

Palpatine has to become Emperor aswell. Construction of the death start will start.

Who knows. None of this may be true. But some of it might.

i heard somehwere tat anakin and obi wan have a fight over a lava pit, anakin gets pushed in [hence the cloke and helmet], i think lucas wont show anakin gettin put into the suit, but let us think tat anakin died, then wen the whole "i am ur father thing" wit luke is still a big shock for plp who havent seen any of the other films.

James Earl Jones has said in an interview that he will be returning as the voice of Darth Vader when the black suited Darth appeares in the movie.

He has said its 15 minites worth of movie time speaking, since Lucas never gives that much screen time to one character I reckon the last 3rd or 4th of the movie will have the suited Darth Vader we all love on the screen.

Hopefully we will see the suited Vader kill off the remaining Jedi like was stated in A New Hope using the kick ass scripted fight sequences from the newer movies.

Obi Wan will fight Anakin halfway thru the movie and beat him. The second half will deal with Palpatine rescuing Anakin and then he'll become Vader and all hell will break loose. I think Ep2 did'nt have as downbeat an ending as E.S.B because Lucas is saving it for the end of Ep3!

Pigman - Lucas has stated in a recent interview that episode 3 will be the darkest of all the movies and he dosent expect the fans to like it much.

Empire was one of the darker movies in the series and most of the fans reckon its the best so I reckon he is out of touch with the fans on this.

People are bored with the good guys always winning all the time so I reckon the third film will be great

The bad guys in question,Vader and the Emperor are so damm cool and they will win,in this movie anyways,will make it hard not to be liked.Lets just hope Lucas dosent chicken out like the sand people camp in AOTC.

I agree with you there. The fact that Lucas thought we'd 'love' the last two movies means that I'm actually welcoming his pesimistic predictions for ep3.

I don't think he's out of touch with fans though. He realises that us older die hards will go see these three films regardless of their content and so he is clearly directing his efforts towards younger people in order to increase his target market.

2: Vader killing some jedi (not anakin)

3: Kenobi vs Anakin

4: Palpatine declaring himself Emperor, most likely in the senate, and the couple hundred stormtroopers 'keeping the peace' while he does it

5: Thrawn, please, is it that much to ask, just a quick 2 minute cameo, Jeremy Irons to play the role

6: Maybe a look at a young Han Solo, or Chewie, but hey, if Boba fet is going to be back, he'll like only be 16-19, but i do remember that Luke was 16-19 when he landed that proton torpedo from the half way line

what i expect to see in episode 3

1. the birth of the empire

2. anikins apparent death

3. yoda's flight from coruscant to dagobah

4. luke and leia's birth (i know for a fact it happens after anikin is reported dead)

5. vaders appearance and hunt for obi-wan / padme

6. the hiding of the twins.


its too early in the timeline for chewie and han to meet i think, but if they did it wouldnt really tie in with the film. (han rescued chewie from a slaver ship and deserted his post on a star destroyer)

I can see that happening but as ever will it explain all that Lucas wants to explain. He will need to show the hiding of like and Leia (Sp?) but will need to show the creation of the empire which i believe happens before he will hide the twins.

We've already seen the first Star Destroyers, the ships carrying clonetroopers from Coruscant were Victory-Class Star Destroyers, which were the biggest and most powerful star cruisers of their time. Imperial-Class Star Destroyers weren't even invented until the Empire was firmly in power. I doubt we'll see any of them. Y-Wings would be good though, since they were in use during the Clone Wars, maybe even some early TIE designs, but that might be hoping for too much.

Luke and Leia cannot be born until after Anakin has turned to the Dark Side, because he never knew he had any children. Darth Vader has to come into existence months beforehand. Padme will not die, because Leia has some memories of her in RotJ. There should be development of Bail Organa, and possibly he should pose a romantic threat to Anakin, since his and Padme's marriage is a secret.

Anakin should turn before he becomes Vader, but wear maybe a little of the costume first. Yes, he should kill Count Dooku, and turn to the Dark Side doing it. When Anakin turns, he should use the death grip power for the first time.

We need a big space battle, a REALLY big one! And the early signs of the Rebellion. And where has Mon Mothma been?? She's supposed to have known Palpatine from when she was a senator!!

Obi-Wan Vs Anakin should be one of the greatest lightsaber fight scenes ever! Obi-Wan will confront Anakin for his crimes (by now, most of the Jedi should be dead), and then the two will fight, with Obi-Wan eventually victorious. Anakin's dying body should then be retrieved, and towards the end (preferably in the last few minutes), we should see him emerge in the full suit as Darth Vader, Imperial March playing triumphantly.

Its pretty obvious that Obi Wan and Anakin will fight over some sort of lava pit, anakin will fall in, then Palpatine will rescue him and possibly get burnt in the process, hence his messed up face in ep6.

Natalie Portman will probably die giving birth to the two bambinos, i dont think any minge will be shown as lucas will more than likely be aiming for a pg-12 rating, so it will probably be a complicated caesarean section.

How will anakin suddenly grow from 6ft to 7ft to become vader?

Vader's extra height can be explained by the fact that most of his body is replaced by cybernetics after his battle with Obi Wan. Remember when Luke cut off his hand in RotJ? Nothing there but melted wires, circuits, and charred metal.

As for Padme dying, don't bet on it. Remeber that Leia had memories of her, and she died when she was very young. No way a newborn will have memories of her.

And the Emperor's appearance can probably be arttributed to the pwoer of the Dark Side. The only reason he's even still alive in RotJ is because he feeds off the Force energy of people, especially those who are Force Sensitive.
