Alright, its in all the news papers, TV, Radio etc, and your probably getting sick of it.

    But tell me this?

Roy was sent home, because he used offensive language, and insulted Mick.

    Thats what we were told.

So why do we have a situation where Mick says 'My phone is turned on' effectively asking roy to ring him, and sort out the situation, then within minutes a 'team' statement from the 'players' is issued, (with none of them there) saying they the team, dont want to play with Roy!

I mean if Mick is big enough to accept a private apology from Roy, then why should that not be acceptable to the team?

The only reason i can think, is that Roy must have been sent home for more reasons than they admitted at first. (IE an agenda)
This would back up keane's view he was ambushed.

And if they wanted him out, could they not wait till after the WC?

Xterminator I answered this on one of the other replies I fired up. The Team have not seen the interview but they only read the transcript. Now watching the interview you get his body language and the tone of his voice which makes a big difference from reading the words only.

I believe there is a problem of egos here. But if Keane really wants to play in the WC he should ring Mick and sort it out between themselves and not in the media like he has been doing for the past week.

While I agree he should ring Mick,
You're point about Roy talking to/through the media doesnt seem to hold up.

It was the inacccurate picture we were receiving about Roy from different sources. including Mick, FAI and other players, that meant Roy had to clear his name to some extent to the public.
