signing certificate problems

Something really strange is happening, I got my certificate from trustcentre.de (free, only 512bits tho) and I usually sign all my emails to look like an unergeek (I know I should be using pgp for true class, but ugh, it's not as easy) :D

Anyway, I was emailing a paragraph from a job application to a mate of mine and when he got it Outlook told him the message had an invalid signature, "Contents altered after message was signed". I have compared the message bodies, and the look the same. Kinda worried about this, I don't really want to be sending emails, thinking I'll come off as an ubergeek when really I'm looking like an utter twat.

So we messed around a little, and all the other mails I sent him were fine. So I'm not sure what to think. Has anyone had this kind of experience. Below is the body of the email. I've added characters to the end and had the same effect (invalid sig), and I've deleted characters from the body and found the email to be signed perfectly?!?!
Experience: Completed two projects in 3rd year; a case based reasoning
system, where I learnt many instance based editing techniques, and a
Personalized Online Newspaper, where my responsibility lay in Information
Extraction. My primary language is JAVA.Research Interests: I have yet to
clearly define an area in computing which I would like to research.
General interests of mine would stem from my two 3rd year projects (i.e.
information extraction, and instance based learning). I am also interested
in distributed computing, through the distributed.net mailing list I have
learnt about some basic concepts such as clustering and I have read
introductory papers on the European GRID effort DataGrid.Goals: Secure
employment, Masters in Computers, bringing about world peace, spreading
the free love ethos & STDs. (AIDs is NOT funny don’t ****ing joke about
it.)Reasons: I am applying to this internship scheme to give me a good
grounding in research methods for my final year project and for a possible
Masters in Computers. The GRID project appeals to me in particular as it
is something I have noticed and looked into in the past and something I
would like to understand more about.

Any hints? Should I email the signing authority?

    Thanks,

    Rob
