Roy not just insulted Mick with these words but also the 13 members of the squad who were born or raised in England. A bigot like him should not be allowed to represent never mind captain the Boys in Green

I appreciate how much he did for the team and was at every home game cheering him but this is unforgivable. I would prefer an "englishman" to lead us than a bigot

Yea and I can imagine some Man Utd players being a tad pissed off too.

I think every thing that Roy said was insulting..."You were a *%$* player and you are *&%* manager..."

Ireland should welcome many foreign coaches to Ireland like "Jack the Lad". If Roy said any of that stuff to Jack, Jack said he would have kicked him. Also the bust up with Packie didn't help. Ireland needs coaches like Jack.

China has a foreign coach, Japan has a french coach, Engalnd too, USA has also,

Foreign coaches would do Ireland a great good.

I think the problem with Roy is that he's spent too much time with man-u-shiiited.
In man-u he gets proper training facilites, good grounds, physio-threapy...

When he came to the World cup he wanted to be treated like a King.

Yet Argentina had hotels booked out, staff missing....Cameroon had their equipment lost, and their flight was delayed for 5 days, to finally arrive in Japan at 3 0'clock in the morning.

Did any of them call them manager a "F&*king "£$%", have a bust-up with the team mates, or threaten to walk out of the team?
    No.
But Roy Keane acted so, because he was used to been treated like Royalty by Sir Alex.

It's the World Cup and sometimes there's problems, live with it, get over it, and stop bitc, hin

I think Keane was just making sure he got his marching orders....

I don't think Keane had any problem with the coach being a foriegner. In fact anyone with his will to win would probably agree to work with anyone irregardless of nationality as long as it helped him achieve his goals in life.

He was clearly having a go at McCarthy in the context of him being a Foriegner who calls himself an Irishman. A petty slag by a man frustrated by an imcompetant manager. And no, before you all have a go at me, I am not chastising McCarthys opinion of himself that he is an Irishman.

Also I don't think any of the English ManU players will take too much umbridge to Keanes comments when they see that they are directed at a player/manager who is English born but plays for another country, a category none of them fall into.

Though I agree with the comment that when Keane said what he said to Mick that he also painted the 11 non Irish born members of the squad (Alan Kelly, Kiely, Breen, O'Brien, Carsley, Holland, Kilbane, McAteer , Reid, Connolly and Morrison) with the same brush.
