"The Toronto Sun has a short article available today about the wait for original trilogy DVDs. Here's part of their article, which contains quotes from Lucas:

"Probably, when I finish this (trilogy)," Lucas said when asked by The Sun when to expect the DVD debuts of Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back and Return Of The Jedi.

Lucas says he has been too busy preparing Thursday's release of Episode II -- Attack Of The Clones and will be too busy making Episode III, slated for theatrical release in 2005.

"We don't have time to do it, to be honest with you," Lucas said. "And the other ones don't have any of the materials (such as the high-tech extras he gave fans on The Phantom Menace DVD)." "

Looks like it will be weeelll after Ep III.

I don't suppose any of you have heard any rumours of Lucas staying on to do the third trilogy. I really want it done.

I heard somebody ask about them in HMV and they reckon 2006 they'll be out.

Are they making a third trilogy, that would be hella cool.

If anyones interested, theres a biography of Carrie Fisher on the biography channel on sunday at 7pm or 10pm. They might be repeating the George Lucas Biography which was pretty cool, I think the are repeating the Harrison Ford and Samuel L Jackson biographies aswell. Not sure as they were on during the week.

Lucas was pronounced dead 3 times after he crashed his car when he was 18. Its a 2 hour biography with interviews and stuff but the first hour is just about his early life, the second hour is about Star Wars. Well worth watching.
