Not that it makes much difference (in real terms), but ALL the Film Four services have now moved to Eurobird capacity.

Leaving just Channel Four and E4 via Astra ...

No doubt its to make way for this Big Brother garbage

Channel 4? Can you get that on Sky Digital? Do you know the frequency?

Er, no. Its blocked for us, those with RoI subs.
Even if you tuned it in manually, you'd get an 08 screen.

I think what happened was when I cancelled, I immediately put my FTA card in and watched it for a few hours.
The signal to cancel Film Four was sent probably during that time.

Hmmm, I wonder if the same would apply with downgrading Sky packages?

No, because I cancelled the Sky World package a few months back and it was gone after 10 minutes.
Maybe if I had an FTV card at that time an put that in immediatly, it would have stayed on.
    But i'll never know.

No it wouldnt work as sky keep sending the cut off signal for months afterwards. They send the signals during football and Simpsons so they can catch you even if you ration your viewing!

I have watched at least 5 films on Film Four since it was
'switched off' and its still on.
Maybe its a Sky plot to ensure I keep subscribing when my year runs out.
