    ok three fellas go to lunch and the bill comes to €30. later the waitress goes to the table and apoligises as the bill only came to €25. for being so honest they give her a €2 tip and keep €1 each!!! that means that the meal cost them €27. the €27 for the meal and the €2 tip what happened to the other €1???

    That's just stupid. The meal wasn't 27. The meal was 25. The tip was 2. That's 27. That means there's 3 left. They keep one euro each. That's not a riddle, it's just silly.

    The €27 already includes the €2 tips. It should be €27 for the meal including tips and €3 goes back to the 3 lads so it adds up to €30. It's not really a riddle, it's just...stupid...

    Woosaysdan - pretty much every riddle in the world has been posted on boards at some stage or another, so most people here know the answers to them all.... there's no point.

    He's not being bashed for writing it, at least not by me, he's given a hard time cause he's posting something so obviously stupid AS a riddle.
