It was simply brilliant. I remember hearing something about a new series but it might not be happening what with Steve Coogan's concentrating on films.

They're making a new series afaik, I think they're going to show the first 2 series on BBC sometime soon followed by the new one.

Oh and PlayUK on Sky Digital show 5/6 hours of Alan Partridge in a row sometimes.

Good news for you then! BBC2 are currently showing an Alan Partridge "season" every Monday at 10pm which is showing all his tv appearances followed by a new series once the others have been shown.

Currently they are going thru partridges debut show "The Day Today" and there are four episodes of that left to show. This will be followed by the six parts of "Knowing me Knowing you" and then possibly its Xmas Special and finally the six parts of "I'm Alan Partridge" before finally breaking into the new series of "I'm Alan Partridge".

So expect a new show in about 16 weeks or so! :)

Ah, excellent! Anyone know if the new series is his life, like "I'm alan partridge" or is it another show? Personally I liked "I'm alan partridge better than the chat shows, it was hilarious :).

i used to remember watching the chat show. twas brilliant.

the best bit was one of my mates comming into the house and trying to figure out what i was watching. he actually thought that it was a chat show. it wasn't until he kept comming around a few fridays in a row that he figured that it was a spoof and he finally got the joke.

    i loved it. brilliant.
