    Ok, just sawEpisode 2 yesterday.
    What can I say?
    It was predictable as ****!
But a hell of a lot darker, and pretty much better than Ep1 in every sense.

Now, that's not why I watched the film, or why I created this thread either.
Bottom line is: Christopher Lee rules all! All the squillion dollar special effects Lucas could throw into the film could never hope to match up to Lee! His sheer magnificense, prescense and awe inspiring preformance trounced EVERYTHING in the film! Each and every actor put to complete and utter shame! His voice carried easily as much command and power as James Earl Jones in the original Trilogy.

One of my favorite scenes is where he conversation between Lee and Obi Wan.
The sheer convincingness of his trickery, and yet at the same time, that little hint of condescending sarcasm aswell. brilliant.

I'm not going to spoil anything about the film.
    Only that Lee owns all!

Oh, and Jango Fett is well cool.

Lee's a great actor. Not sure about his three-nippled Scaramanga but watching the Wicker Man, you'll be convinced.

Christopher Lee does, and always has owned you all. The only problem is that he always plays bad guys. The only time i can recall him playing a heroic lead was The Devil Rides out, and he was brilliant. Anyway, thats not his fault. He rocks..

I totally agree. Count Dooku was definitely the best character in the film. Especially his light-saber. He kicked everybody's ass!! Can't wait to see him in the next film.

I wouldn't say that was a problem at all.

And the Devil Rides Out was a fantastic film.
I'd love to see that again.

Does he expel lightning from his fingers in all his latest movies ? His character was good in SW II, unlike everyone else.

Christopher Lee was good in SW2 as Count Dooku all right but what bugs me is what he said to Obi-Wan because it's kinda out of character and so "done it for the audience". Let me explain. If he was trying to trick Obi-Wan then he didn't have to tell him the truth about who was in control of the senate. If he was just being really really cunning and playing mind tricks etc then wtf was he doing using such un-jedi like, aggressive phrases like "together we will CRUSH the siths" when talking? The little speech worked great at that point in the movie to make question his loyalties (well, none star wars fans like me anyway) but again, it's just kinda badly thought out. I blame the writer....George Lucas needs writing and directing lessons.

Dooku fell to the dark side... there always on about crushing this that and the other.

...plus he was pretty confidint that Obi-Wan wouldint be alive for too much longer. In these circumstances it's perfectly acceptable for a bad guy to spill the beans... best not too dwell on the matter.

    Lee is good.

(dragging up a month old thread, my bad)

Just watched Jinnah on Sky Premier.

Lee plays the eponymous lead. Wow. Finest acting I've ever seen from the guy, without raising as much as a palm in anger. If you're a Lee fan you simply have to see this (even if you've no interest in the independence story of Pakistan)
