winape problems

    just wondering if anyone has problems running disks in winape, the amstrad emulator. Im on win 2000.
    Cartridges run fine but disks will not load.

    I choose disks(roms in the same directory as winape) for drive a and b.
    i type run "disk"
    and get drive: a read fail.

    Any suggestions?
    I really want to play rick dangerous again :)

    Thats a bit odd... could be the image so i'd try CaPriCe 32 and see if that works. You should check out a game called Grysor aka contra for those who don't know and any of the USGOLD (Remember them!) GAUNTLET games:D Excellent stuff!. If your still havin problems visit www.amstrad.dk ....actually just go there anyway cause they 've got everything you'll ever need;)
