    Being a Celtic supporter i would like to see this happen but if this proposed change of leagues takes place which i dont think it will,the Scottish premier league will be a joke.
    Its stupid to say that Celtic and Rangers are allowed to play....for what.....Livingston are the currently the rising power of Scottish football.....so what happens when they keep winning the Scots premier and get bored.......A British league is the only solution but that will take years to put together
    Anyone agree or disagree with me????

    there would never be a british leauge,because it wouldn't be good for the english game, it would take down the standerd of their leauge, and the hugh magority of top clubs would still be english, it would probably be the start of a european leauge and that would be terrible!!

    I deffinatly think there should be a celtic leauge (as in keltic not seltic), possibly excluding rangers and celtic if they did join the english leauge, and have irish ,welsh and scottish teams participating, to bring up the standard of those 3 leauges, i for one think there will be an irish team competeing at the highest level in europe within the next 30 years, but this would spped it up a bit

    Iv already posted on this topic but another point has been raised here!
    After this next Sky contract is finished Ill bet the English clubs are screaming for the OF!
    Many commentators reckon the premiership will only be worth between 5-7 hundred million next time round!
    Still alot of money I hear ye say! and it is, but it is still a big drop from last time in a time when wages are still going up! eg Beckham and Vieire, if he decides to stay, and most premiership clubs are already making a loss!
    This is where the OF comes in, adding a new dimension to the league!

    Celtic and Rangers (as other have been at pains to point out to me) are BRITTISH clubs and they will argue that they should compete in the english league rather than a league of Celtic nations, one of which is on a seperate island and not part of Britain at all!
