Media Player 7 annoyance

    has anyone noticed that when "work online" is selected in media player 7 the redraw of every part of the window slows down to a halt? ive noticed this on 4 systems, my old installation of winME, my current win2k installation and on 2 friends win98 and winME computers. it is a little less obvious on their faster machines but is still very evident. ive downloaded version 7.1 but the problem is still there. is there any fix for this as i hate real jukebox and winamp just doesnt cut the mustard?
