How many of you 'follow' premiership teams?

A very good % of you do, on average!

So how can you be a supporter of Premiership football, yet have be Anti England?

Are youre favourite players not the same people when they don the 3 Lions?

I personally cheer England, except when they play Ireland, or Argentina!

I predict a close match against Sweden, possibly a draw, with England drwing with Germany, and beating the african team, to clinch a place in the knockout stages.

The will make to the quater finals i reckon.

I agree with you there. I don't see why everybody who follows English football don't want to see them do well. I shout for them except when Ireland come up against them I suppose the incident in Lansdowne a few years ago put me off them a bit but I still hope they do well for the players sake. Alot of my fav players are there like Gerrard, Owen, Vassel, Keown, Campbell, martyn.

Aye I still find it strange that Macca isnt going to Japan, even though he dont play every game for Madrid.

And hopefully not forgetting that the vast majority of English fans who deplore the actions of the mindless violence merchants. From what I understand, the hooligans at Euro 2000 were mostly people who weren't even interested in football, they were just there to cause problems and UEFA's threat to chuck England out of the compo would hand them the victory they desire while robbing everyone else of seeing their team.

I just hope the border police are savvy enough to prevent such people travelling this year and we can see an England performance unmarred by violence...

Its a bad decision in my opinion to leave Mcmanaman out. Here is a player that in a few days time could well have 2 CL Winners Medals, and he is not going to the WC. Its very confusing, although Ericsson was probably busy entertaining Ulrika when he could have been checking up on McManaman. Its a gamble, we'll have to see if it pays off.

Agree with the point made about the people who wear the Owen or Beckham shirts every week to the local pub, and will scream anti-English obscenities during the WC. If it were not so pathetic it would be funny.

And to the person who thinks the hooligans are not football fans. I would like to know where he gets the "from what I understand" info from. Probably from the same British media that is broadcasting a plethora of football hooligan documentaries on the eve of the WC, doing their utmost to ensure their own fans can never shake off the hooligan tag. If people think hoolifans are not real fans, then think again.
